Giving birth, ah, what a beautiful experience that is. What might even be better is how you get to that point. Sex, obviously. But nine months is a long time to hold out until the next time, so why not do it while she’s pregnant?Having sex while a woman is pregnant is actually a lot more common than people think. Of course, people probably tend to have sex towards the beginning months of a pregnancy and slowly fade away when getting closer to delivery. Part of the reason why is the fact that women tend to lose their sex desire late in the pregnancy. I’m not necessarily saying it’s because of the size of the belly but more often than not, it’s the anticipation of having a baby.
But when the woman’s belly swells up and the bigger her breasts gets, those once-easy-and-flexible-sex-positions aren’t exactly the most comfortable like they used to be. Those exciting and dynamite positions could become painful and unpleasant. But again, people have needs! (And I’m not only talking about the men here!)
But some positions you might want to try are:
- Have the woman on top because it takes the pressure off the pregnant belly and it also lets the woman control the push and power of the sex.
- Sideways while facing each other is another good position. It keeps the weight off the pregnant belly and it supports the uterus at the same time.
The last position is only recommended towards the beginning months of pregnancy. When the woman is lying on her back, but supposedly it’s not recommended after about the fourth month of pregnancy. Honestly, I would not test out this theory either. (Plus, I’m a guy, if I get pregnant, there’s a whole different problem I would have to worry about!)But they say a woman should stop lying on her back because the weight of the uterus could block blood vessels that supply your leg and uterus.
