I read this article from askmen.com (try saying that three times fast) and they listed the top 10 reasons why men would potentially cheat. And when I say cheat, it all leads to sex.
I know a lot of women are probably saying, “um, yeah, obviously it’s because they’re idiots.” Speaking as a man, “yes, we are idiots” but wait till I focus the topic on women in the next day or two.

The number 10 – your woman does not put out. This doesn’t necessarily mean that she won’t have sex, but in long-term relationships the sex life seems to lower, but this could also mean that women are not willing to try new things. I mean, who wants the same exact thing every single time, it gets boring.
Number 9 – she cheated on you first. Maybe not the person you’re currently with, but some guys feel if they ever got cheated on, they have to take that revenge out on every single women in their lives for the rest of their lives.
Number 8 – seek the challenge and excitement. Unfortunately, some guys take it as a personal challenge to sleep around and try to get away with it. Ever heard of that expression, “treating her like a piece of meat or trophy?” Yeah, exactly.
Number 7 – never get caught doing it. This is sort of a continuation from the previous one. It’s the challenge and knowing you can get away with it because you never got caught.
Number 6 – boosts the ego. A lot of guys feel being in a long-term relationship, that not as many women would look at them, or even look at them in a sexual manner. Nothing will boost their ego more than knowing women still desire them sexually.
Number 5 – the opportunity was there. People say guys can’t turn down sex. Well, that’s not true. But at the same time, women just don’t constantly throw themselves at guys on a regular basis. But if the opportunity comes, they may look at it like a once-in-a-lifetime type thing.
Number 4 – she nags and argues regularly. If it’s a relationship with constant nagging, arguing, headaches, then more than likely men look for other women for a pain reliever.
Number 3 – women let guys do it. I don’t agree with this one but there’s some women who forgive and forgive time after time again. In this case, it’s both the men and women, men for obviously cheating and women for letting him get away with it. Please see: Bill Clinton.
Number 2 – she doesn’t turn him on anymore. This goes for guys AND girls, but letting yourselves go after being in a long-term relationship. Gaining weight, don’t care for dressing up anymore, etc, I’m sure that turns people off and that almost always equals no sex.
Number 1 – he doesn’t love her anymore. Then why stay with her? Well, they might look at separating as very painful and radical that they just don’t want to go through it. That’s selfish in my opinion.
In the long run, cheating is not a good thing. It might seem like a pain reliever, but it’s almost always just temporarily. My opinion, do NOT cheat or just become a make escort or something.
