“Ejaculating more frequently, that is daily, improves sperm DNA damage in most men by a decent amount. Prior to in vitro fertilization (IVF), for example, men are abstaining a lot more than normal and perhaps sperm DNA increases more usual,” states lead researcher Dr. David Greening of Sydney.
So limiting sex or ejaculation for males isn’t really recommended. Because the more sex and ejaculating a guy can do, it will not only help boost your sperm count, but it also helps guys with fertility problems.
Now I’m not saying that it will cure all fertility problems that some guys may experience, but it increases the chances of fatherhood.
Of course, when holding out from ejaculation and sex, the sperm volume and numbers may be there but apparently the DNA damage increases as well, and that’s not a good thing if you’re looking for fertility.
The study was taken of 42 men who spouses had either failed to become pregnant through IVF or repeatedly miscarried. The researchers found that men who had no sex for three or more days, their sperm contained high levels of DNA damage. Then they tested the same guys who had sex everyday for an entire week and the DNA damage dropped almost by a third.
So guys, if you’re trying to increase your chances of fertility or possibly help with fertility problems, then the obvious choice is to, um, have more sex.
Hey, only if my doctor would recommend more sex for the flu or something. Wait, I wrote about that… read it at Keep the Doctor Away – Have an Orgasm a Day!
Problem solved!
